High sound attenuation was paramount to this installation carried out by Phoenix Interiors. The installation consisted of barrel vaulted (GRG) ceilings to the auditorium together with curved lighting troughs and diffusers with metal infills to take speakers etc.

The installation also included small individual pod type metal SAS ceilings with flash caps set in plasterboard, curved plasterboard and GRG window details to feature windows, along with SAS timber (look a like) panel feature ceiling.

With specific design criteria of very high quality and sound attenuation, this is probably the best ceiling installation ever seen in the awards competition. The project is simply outstanding!.
