A challenging 47 week programme, this complex and technical fit-out covered over 55,000ft2 at Deutsche Bank's One Appold Street property.

The scope of works included the fit-out of two dealer floors with the latest cutting edge dealer desks, mechanical, electrical, IT and AV technology. Over 650 dealer positions and approximately 180 backup support positions were created. This included new restaurants, pantry, tea point and break out areas on two levels as well as new toilet facilities in the meeting and AV rooms on level three and director areas. Glazed perimeter meeting rooms and director offices were constructed overlooking the trading floor.

The services element was a large part of the project. Como installed four new generators on the ground floor plant room together with four new generator exhaust flues. Also installed were two new chillers to the roof on a new steel frame, four electrical sub stations, two cooling towers, a new UPS room and all associated infrastructure, new SER rooms and an extension to the existing MER to double its IT capacity.

Systems had to be kept fully functional to supply IT support to two of the banks' other buildings. All works were completed in a fully occupied building and were carried out with no disruption to the client's business.

All glazed partitions were from Vosseler and ceilings from SAS.
