Pan Peninsula is a stunning residential development of the highest quality in the Docklands area of London consisting of two towers - one of which is the tallest residential tower in London.
Mivan commenced work from Ballymore Properties in February 2008. The scope covered the fit-out of the health club and spa, cocktail bar and the 44th floor penthouse over a five month period. The health club was completed in 22 weeks with the cocktail bar being delivered in only nine weeks, in what would traditionally take at least 16 weeks.
Logistics were a major challenge on site, primarily due to the height of the towers. The 2,000m
2 health club and spa presented a challenge co-ordinating the various trades on site, including tiling, partitions, painting, timber flooring, glazing specialists and steel staircase supplier.
The majority of the joinery items were manufactured in Mivan's factory in County Antrim including the curved stainless steel reception desk in the health club, 120 timber doorsets, cocktail bar, banquet seating and bespoke wall panelling, some of which was crown cut oak veneer, stained black.
