DEB Group recently moved into a state of the art £9.5m new international production and HQ facility, in Derby.

moda interiors was selected to provide glass screen partitions by main contractor Morgan Ashurst. The contract included frameless glass screens to meeting rooms, offices, laboratories, production and reception areas.

The systems used were Optima's 117 single and 217 double glazed frameless glass partition systems. Many of the meeting rooms were constructed from full height curved toughened glass, integrated with Optima's 'kinetic' frameless glass sliding door system. The installation was complimented by a unique theme of branded manifestation designed by the client.

Private offices and more sensitive meeting rooms used either single or double glazed, according to acoustic requirements, along with frameless glass doors in Optima's 'Microflush' doorframes. Some of the circulation doors used the same 'Microflush' doorframes, with full height laminate faced doors.

A fire screen was also installed as a feature viewing window between Reception and Production areas, using Forster 'Presto' 60/0 metal screen system.
