Partitioning forming the IT classroom consisted partly of stud and plasterboard formed with two layers of Soundbloc each side of the stud and acoustic insulation infill, bespoke timber and glass partitioning. The timber partitioning was finished in oak and was manufactured off site and delivered to site in component form, polished by a French polisher to match the colour of existing oak furniture. The partition glass was manufactured in double glazed sealed units consisting of acoustic laminated glass to provide 34dB rating.

In addition to the oak framed partitioning, a bespoke staircase finished with oak handrail and turned spindles was installed to form the access to the Mezz Study area. The staircase was manufactured off site and craned on to site via an adjacent window. The French polisher finished the oak staircase on site.

Bespoke perimeter benching and individual study stations were manufactured and installed to the IT classroom and Mezz Study area. These were designed and manufactured to meet specific requirements complete with 'wireways' for power and data cabling.

The ceiling installed in the IT classroom was a plasterboard ceiling tacked directly to the underside of the timber joists.
Bespoke timber tiered curved seating installation was designed to accommodate the shape of the room. The room was surveyed and the entire timber construction and fabric seating manufactured and erected off site ensuring all components were built correctly and to the size of the room ensuring a perfect fit.

Carpet finishes were installed throughout.

All wall areas were finished in plaster and painted. Windows were painted to match existing, and all new joinery was stained by a French polisher to match the existing joinery.
