The 14 floors at KPMG contained a complex and detailed interaction of different ceiling manufacturers including SAS, Baswaphon, Casoline MF and bespoke bulkhead panels.
The main floors consisted of SAS 330 system to the open plan areas which additionally incorporated chilled beams, linear slot air grills and specialist linear lighting as well as the usual M&E services. SAS ceilings were also installed to the kitchens and comms rooms with system 150 and 130 respectively.
To account for the changes in levels between ceilings and the full height perimeter glazing, bespoke bulkhead panels were introduced which additionally incorporated a blind box detail.
Plasterboard perimeter margins and shadow gap trims give clear lines and allow for full tile modules. Meeting rooms and breakout areas contain plasterboard margins with tiled modular bay features.
Baswaphon ceilings to the boardrooms maintained the high acoustic requirements, whilst mega panels to the client dining room at 5m high added a spacious feel to the area.
GRG lighting trough features border the lift lobbies and conference rooms, whilst the blue SAS 150 system above the high level atriums added a unique visual feature to the building.
