Domino Commercial Interiors were selected to carry out an extensive modification to Synectics new 'shell' headquarters building in Sheffield.

The brief was to create a spacious, modern and comfortable environment in which to house the design production and support teams along with an extensive training room and demonstration facilities with boardroom and executive offices.

Domino selected the Technika partitioning system from Italian manufacturer Babini. The use of horizontal solid and double glazed panels provided a striking contrast to most conventional systems. The Italian influence was continued with an Italian kitchen and desking systems from Alea with frosted acrylic screens to complement the modern sleek appearance, all finished in walnut to match the partitioning and provide an elegant and contemporary feel.

Horizontal solid and double glazed panels create a very striking contrast to conventional partitioning systems. Designed in-house by the contractor the installation fully met the client's high expectations.
