The design of the interior partitions was drawn up using a combination of standard British Gypsum metal stud and plasterboard using aluminium style trims to form shadow rebated details to all junctions with ceiling, wall abutments and skirting. The skirting chosen was an MDF square edge which when used with the style trim forms a flush detail with the finished plasterboard.

Meeting rooms had seamless 12mm toughened glass partitions to the front elevations complete with frameless glass doors located onto floor springs and fitted with 900mm stainless steel back to back pull handles.

To complete the plasterboard ceilings to the meeting rooms and floating raft, RAP took the original design and had a series of meetings with the designer to work through the method of build to obtain the desired finished look. A conventional timber structure was built for the meeting rooms, with all the loading being hung directly from the roof structural steels on 20mm threaded rods. A structural engineer was introduced to the project to ensure that no unsightly columns were introduced to the clean front elevation. The raft section of steel was clad in standard British Gypsum MF system all bearing on a unistrut framework.

White high gloss vinyl wrapped kitchen units were installed for a tea-point area incorporating all integrated appliances.
