The partitioning contract included the creation of a ?hub? area that comprised both reception and staff caf?. The curved wall that greets visitors on arrival in reception features modern, colourful graphics and quotes about communication from famous writers, from Shakespeare to Oscar Wilde. These were produced in conjunction with the Freshwater design team.

The partitioning layout was developed by the Bbi in-house design team from a basic space-plan supplied by the client. Originally rectilinear in design, with areas ?boxed in?, the plan was remodelled around a curved ?hub? with both open plan and cellular space opening out from the hub.

Colour was key to the project with white desks offset by lime green desk lamps and bright red dividers.

The kitchen consisted of high gloss black and lime green cabinets which were positioned next to feature partitioning with a picture of an iced doughnut and a pink cupcake as well as a quote from Homer Simpson!
