Westfield?s White City Shopping Centre is an architecturally stunning showcase for its five anchor stores: Debenhams, Marks + Spencer, Next, Waitrose and House of Fraser.

With sustainability being a priority for this site and every aspect of the design being scrutinised to ensure minimum impact on the environment, Lindner was selected to undertake the fit-out of the raised access floors in the House of Fraser store.

House of Fraser?s requirements called for access to the floor void where the mechanical and electrical works for the tills were installed, and a finished product complementing other finishes within the store.

2,500m2 of Lindner Nortec calcium sulphate raised access floor panels were installed on the ground and first floor levels, with both a factory bonded ceramic finish and a reconstituted stone finish. Despite the challenge of a finished floor height of 100mm (including total floor panel thickness of 40mm), Lindner completed the total installation within the required four-week period.
