As part of a long-term development programme that aims to renew the 150 year old Victoria and Albert Museum interior, Stretch Ceilings (UK) undertook a detailed design programme with MUMA Architects, in which acoustic control was paramount.
The design culminated in the installation of 15 Matt White micro acoustic panels and seven Translucent Venus illuminated panels in the cafe area.
The use of Barrisol enabled a contemporary but utilitarian design to be achieved, making a stunning contrast with the ornate decoration of the Victorian interior.
