This technically challenging contract included the design, supply and installation of a variety of bespoke drylining and ceiling systems.
Armstrong Dry Wall Grid was used to form curved plasterboard bulkheads, while curved SAS metal ceilings in the operation room included continious bomb door access for facilities maintenance.
The design for the high specification partitions was a collaboration between Roskel, Knauf and Metsec and included complicated curved plasterboard lining to the entrance atrium and staircase. Ten-metre high internal partitions were used to create a complete EMC box encasing the control room, and were required to be two-hour fire rated and to withstand 2.6N/m2 loading.
